The Toyota Camry: Always a Good Choice

Is there a more famous car than the Toyota Camry? If you were on a gameshow and had to quickly list five vehicles within a matter of seconds, wouldn’t your brain instantly think of the Camry? We know that ours would.

Why is that, we wonder?

Maybe it’s because the Toyota Camry has proven to be a stable and reliable vehicle over the years. This mid-size car is known for its spacious interior and outstanding safety record. It’s no wonder why so many families choose a Camry. With plenty of space for the kids and the peace of mind that comes with owning a safe vehicle, parents keep coming back to this popular Toyota. As the years move forward, the Camry continues to add new styling and new features. Remaining the same, however, is its popularity with a vast and diverse population of drivers.

What’s New on the 2019 Toyota Camry?

The 2019 Camry comes in five distinct trim levels: L, LE, SE, XSE, and XLE. The base L trim offers cloth upholstery, 16-inch steel wheels, *Bluetooth®, a rearview camera, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic LED headlights, and several technology features such as a USB port, Amazon Alexa connectivity, six-speaker sound system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a 7-inch touchscreen interface, and Apple CarPlay. The LE provides a car alarm, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 60/40-split folding back seat, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The sporty SE trim gains revised steering calibration, 18-inch wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and paddle shifters. The XLE and XSE trims offers the following features spread across the two trims: keyless ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, extra USB ports, larger wheels, blind-spot monitoring, and more.

From comfort to technology and everything in-between, the Toyota Camry provides all the features you need to enjoy a long road trip with your friends or a simple drive downtown.

Toyota Camry: A Brief History

In 1983, the Camry was introduced as both a sedan and a hatchback. This first-generation Camry was front-wheel drive. From 1987-1991, the second generation Camry was produced, replacing the hatchback with a wagon body style. When the 1990’s came around, the Camry began to pick up steam with buyers during its third generation.

From 1997-2001, the Camry became a force to be reckoned with. The mid-size car now featured two new engines, a longer wheelbase, and more modern styling. In 2007, the Camry was still going strong and won Motor Trend’s 2007 Car of the Year award. Over the years, the Camry may have changed, but each time, it continues to change for the better.
