The 2015 Toyota Tundra is a big, tough truck, ready to handle any job you throw at it. Toyota of Southern Maryland in Lexington Park, MD has both the Tundra and the smaller Tacoma, ready to test drive, at our showroom conveniently close to Mechanicville and Prince Frederick.
Nissan still makes the 2015 Tiran, but it hasn’t been substantially updated in years, and it really is showing its age.
Nissan has whittled its Titan lineup down to just two different configurations, a crew cab with 5’7” bed and an extended cab with 6'7” bed. Toyota still offers a regular cab truck and an 8’ long bed (with regular or extended cab). Of course, Toyota also offers a crew cab with 5’5” bed, and an extended cab with a regular 6’5” bed too. Toyota also offers buyers 2 engine options, one with more power, and one with better fuel economy.
The standard 4.6-liter Toyota V8 has just 7hp less than the only motor Nissan offers. Toyota also manages an EPA estimated 15 city/19 highway mpg with the smaller motor, which is good for a V8 truck. The Nissan’s 5.6-liter V8 can only get 13 city/18 highway mpg on the EPA tests, which matches the rating of the more powerful Toyota 5.7-liter.
If you are buying a truck to tow a boat or camper trailer, the Tundra is the one to choose. The base Tundra 4.6-liter V8 is rated at up to 6,800lbs, depending on body/bed configuration, while with the 5.7-liter you can tow up to 10,500lbs. The Nissan Titan is rated for a maximum of 9,500lbs, no matter which cab/bed you choose. Toyota includes the tow package as standard equipment on all trucks with the 5.7 liter motor too.
The 2015 Toyota Tundra is one of the best buys in the full-size truck market, and it comes with a truckload of Toyota quality. See the Tundra and the Tacoma, and all the Toyota SUVs at Toyota of Southern Maryland in Lexington Park, MD.View Inventory
