Honda updated their Accord midsize sedan a few years ago, but tech and features change so quickly these days that is just feels old when compared back to back with Camry.
The 2015 Honda Accord hasn’t changed hardly at all and looks just like the 2013 version. Toyota redesigned the latest Camry with one of the best looking sedan bodies on the market, but it is also aerodynamic without looking like a cough drop. Toyota also upgraded the interior with fabrics and soft-touch material that seem almost too nice for such an affordable car. The Toyota Camry features a 6-speed automatic transmission, no matter if you choose the 4-cylinder or V6 motor. Honda gave the Accord a continuously variable automatic transmission in 2013, for better mileage and acceleration. CVT transmissions work well in traffic, but many people find them to cause an annoying drone with a 4-cylinder on the highway. The annoying drone comes with just 1 extra mpg on the highway compared to the Camry, according to the EPA.
